mp3s

cabbit records does not believe in the sale of mp3s and other lossy file formats. cabbit records will only use mp3s and other lossy file formats as a way to sample what the label has to offer. while mp3s have a good sound for such a small file size, it is a lossy compression scheme. this means that when music is converted into the mp3 format, a certain amount of data is lost and cannot ever be recovered.

confused? simply put, we do not want to sell you music with lesser sound quality just because you might not hear the difference.

we do, however, want to provide you the best we have to offer. and we do that by providing flacs. more info on flacs available here.
